I’m just a mum. Motherhood pushed me to the depth

I’m just a mum.

Motherhood pushed me to the depths of emotions I didn’t even know I could feel.

The deepest love. The fiercest protection.
And, for a long time, so much worry.

I could never have imagined that somewhere within all of that, a path forward would begin to reveal itself.

A path that started with trying to help my own children, but somehow reached far beyond our little family.

I became a mum who had found ways to help her children.

A mum who could help other mums help theirs.

A mum who built something that would go on to reach families I may never even meet.

But perhaps one of the biggest things of all…

I became a mum who no longer lived consumed by worry.

And now, sometimes I open a letter or a message from another mum telling me that because of Mighty Kids, she doesn’t worry like she used to either.

That she feels more equipped. More confident. Like she finally has things she can do to support her family.

And I think about how something that began in one mum’s deepest worries somehow became part of the answer to another’s.

I’ll never stop being in awe of that.

I’m still just a mum.

From around 18 months old, one of my little boys b

From around 18 months old, one of my little boys began waking in the night crying because his knees hurt. Most nights, he’d tell us they were hurting, and even after appointments with specialists, we still didn’t know why. As a parent, it was really worrying.

Alongside this, he struggled with digestive issues. Many foods triggered bloating and diarrhoea, he regularly complained of tummy aches, his immune system seemed so weak, he had a constant cough (especially when lying down), a permanent runny nose, sweated heavily at night, and had rashes and tiny raised bumps across much of his body.
